How to Sign Up for the El Capitan Beta Preview

  • Open Apple Beta Software Program page.
  • Click on Sign Up/In
  • Enter your Apple ID credentials and accept the agreement to join the OS X Beta Program.
  • Now open Enroll your MAC page.
  • Click on “Download the OS X El Capitan Public Beta” button.
  • The Mac App Store will open with your redemption code already entered, and your download will begin automatically.

Install OS X El Capitan

  • Rename Install OS X El Capitan Public Beta.app to Install OS X Yosemite.app

NOTE!: This just needs to be done in order to trick DiskMaker X into creating a bootable install drive for it.
